Reporting
Overview
The Policy Processing System includes many different reports that allow you to track a number of things such as unprocessed APHs as well as complete tasks such as ACRSI reporting. Each section below contains information specific to different areas of reporting.
Unprocessed Reports
You can monitor the processing statuses of your policies using the Unprocessed Reports available from Reports > MPCI Reporting > Unprocessed Reports (if wanting to run the reports for all policies) or from the Utilities tab of a policy (if wanting to run the report on a single policy). These reports allow a user to quickly identify policies/crops by reporting date and what the processing statuses are for each policy/crop's coverages, APHs, Detail Lines, and for Area Plan Production or to identify units with missing CLU acreage and units out of CLU acreage tolerance.
NOTE: Whole Farm Revenue Protection policies are included in search results. To view reports specifically for WFRP, select "Whole Farm Revenue Protection" from the Crop dropdown.
ACRSI
The Acreage and Crop Reporting Streamlining Initiative (ACRSI) was created to simplify the producer reporting processes. Growers can now work with agents and the FSA to exchange field information via the ACRSI Clearinghouse. Submitting and receiving data through the ACRSI Clearinghouse provides more real-time access to data. Over time, continued participation in the pilot will help improve and expedite the reporting process as more crops or scenarios are supported in the pilot.
Before completing the ACRSI Information, it’s helpful to have the grower identify both their cropland and non-cropland, complete with farm names, tract/field information, crops, plant dates, acres, etc. as they would normally provide FSA. The previous year’s 578s, maps, and/or CIMS records can also be helpful.
CIMS
CIMS, or the Comprehensive Information Management System, is a repository of data from the FSA, RMA, and other government sources. This data is used by the System to populate different pages in the System with producer information, such as field and production values. To do this, the System sends a C05 request file to RMA and the return file is imported back into the System just as other transmissions files are. The results in this file contain from 1-10 years of policy data for the Primary Producer and any SBIs on a policy. RMA limits the size of return files to 5,000 policies per transmission, so in the case of large requests, multiple return files are sent to satisfy the requests.
A CIMS request for a policy is automatically triggered by the System at three specific times:
• | When a policy is new or an incoming transfer; |
• | When an AR sign date is entered; and |
• | When a Notice of Loss is entered. |
With the addition of Fast Edit CLU functionality, the System also automatically requests new CIMS data once a week to provide users with more up-to-date CIMS information—this data is stored within the System and used to populate the Fast Edit AR page and Fast Edit CLU. You can easily view all the CIMS data received for a grower by the System using the CIMS Data Request page (Tools > CIMS Results).
Registers
You can quickly identify all policies or claims that match specific criteria using the different registers available throughout the System.
