This ticket was making changes to the System to support FIP-SI coverages.
Changes that were made:

With this ticket, coverage UI and database changes were implemented to support FIP-SI by allowing the selection of the FIP-SI endorsement as a crop option on the MPCI coverage pages (Add New Policy, Add/Maintain/View Coverage), Add New MPCI Quote page, and Fast Edit Coverage. FIP-SI was available only for APH (Plan 90) Grapes (0053) in select counties in California (see actuarials for counties that offer FIP-SI) for the 2025+ RYs. |

FIP-SI had a plan code of 38 but would be handled as a Crop Option on the coverage and quote pages, similarly to how HIP-WI was handled (i.e., “FIP” would show up in the Crop Options dropdown on these pages when available in the actuarials). This was done by adding FIP-SI to the 2025 IceOptionsSuppliment table. |

On the MPCI coverage and quote pages (listed in the previous paragraph), along with “FIP” being added to the Crop Options dropdown, the following fields (that only display when “FIP” is selected from the Crop Options dropdown) were added to allow for FIP-SI processing: |

FIP Coverage Level: The value in this field was always 95%, and as such, displayed as read-only. |
|

|
FIP Coverage Percentage (FIP Coverage % in Fast Edit Coverage): This field allowed the user to make a selection between 1 and 100% in whole increments; default is 100% price election. |
|

FIP Fund Designation: Only users with the System Function, Policy > FCIC Fund Designation Set > “Access”, attached to a role on their user profile would be able to view and make changes to this field. This field follows the same logic that is used for the HIP-WI Fund Designation field. This field did not display in Fast Edit Coverage or on the Add New MPCI Quote page.

FIP Coverage Status (FIP Cov Status in Fast Edit Coverage): This field allowed a user to select a coverage status for FIP-SI. |

FIP Insured Signature Date (FIP Insured Sign in Fast Edit Coverage): This field allowed a user to key the date the insured signed the FIP-SI coverage. |
|

|
FIP Agent Signature Date (FIP Agent Sign in Fast Edit Coverage): This field allowed a user to key the date the agent signed the insured’s FIP-SI coverage.

This ticket also added several DB fields that were needed for PASS transmissions going forward. A separate ticket was set up to address the transmission logic that will be handled in upcoming releases.

MCT added a new Print Option to the MPCI Application (main) and Perennial Combo Form to give users the ability to print the Fire Insurance Protection Application Supplement to capture the data.
Changes that were made:

The system determined if the user was able to select the Fire Insurance Protection, this was added for all years.

A new Print Option titled "Fire Insurance Protection (FIP) Endorsement Application" was added to the MPCI Application and Perennial Combo Form in alpha order with the other Print Options.

The default for this Print Option was NOT selected. |
