Split a Field

A Split Field(s) tool is available from the Tools menu. This tool allows a user to split a field along a line drawn by the user.

1. Open the policy for the grower and select the Map tab. The Mapping window opens for the policyholder and zooms to a view of the fields associated with the policyholder.
2. Zoom to the location where you want to split a field and select the field.
3. From the Tools menu, select the “Split Field(s)” option.
4. Click once outside of the field where you want the split to occur.

5. Users can add a vertex or change direction by clicking once in a location to create another point.
6. Drag your mouse to the location where the split should occur and double click outside of the field. A black line appears along where you split the field.
