Copy Fields from One Layer to Another Layer

Depending on a user's permissions, they can copy a field from one layer to another:

•

If a user has permissions to edit the grower layer, a field can be copied from the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer.

•

If the user has permissions to edit the grower layer, a field can be copied from the Adjuster Layer to the Grower layer by making the grower layer active and selecting a field on the Adjuster Layer to copy.

From the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer

Turn on the Grower Layer.

Turn on the Adjuster Layer.

Make the Adjuster Layer Active by clicking the plug icon.

Select a field on the Grower Layer, and then select Tools > Copy Fields. The field will be copied from the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer. A popup informs the user of a successful or unsuccessful copy.

From the Adjuster Layer to the Grower Layer

Turn on the Adjuster Layer.

Turn on the Grower Layer.

Make the Grower Layer Active by clicking the plug icon.

Select a field on the Adjuster Layer, and then select Tools > Copy Fields. The field will be copied from the Adjuster Layer to the Grower Layer. A popup informs the user of a successful or unsuccessful copy.
