Copy Fields from One Layer to Another Layer

Depending on a user's permissions, they can copy a field from one layer to another:
• | If a user has permissions to edit the grower layer, a field can be copied from the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer. |
• | If the user has permissions to edit the grower layer, a field can be copied from the Adjuster Layer to the Grower layer by making the grower layer active and selecting a field on the Adjuster Layer to copy. |
From the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer
1. | Turn on the Grower Layer. |
2. | Turn on the Adjuster Layer. |
3. | Make the Adjuster Layer Active by clicking the plug icon. |
4. | Select a field on the Grower Layer, and then select Tools > Copy Fields. The field will be copied from the Grower Layer to the Adjuster Layer. A popup informs the user of a successful or unsuccessful copy. |
From the Adjuster Layer to the Grower Layer
1. | Turn on the Adjuster Layer. |
2. | Turn on the Grower Layer. |
3. | Make the Grower Layer Active by clicking the plug icon. |
4. | Select a field on the Adjuster Layer, and then select Tools > Copy Fields. The field will be copied from the Adjuster Layer to the Grower Layer. A popup informs the user of a successful or unsuccessful copy. |
