Override a Policy Address
All Reinsurance Years
To support policy-specific mailing addresses when extenuating circumstances exist (e.g., POAs that differ by policy, farm managers who receive policy documents that differ by policy), an address override feature is available in the System.
The single grower record structure allows for entry of multiple mailing addresses and designation of a primary address for mailing; the System also allows an override address to be applied at a policy level.
1. | Locate and open the policy you need to apply a policy address override to. |
2. | On the policy's Utilities tab, in the Address Override section, click Add Address Override. The Policy Address Override popup opens. All addresses for the grower are shown in this popup. |
3. | In the Policy Address Override popup, mark the checkbox that corresponds with the address you wish to make the default address for the policy. |
4. | Click Save. You are returned to the policy's Utilities tab, and the selected address is saved as the default address and shown to the right of the Edit Address Override hyperlink. |
NOTE: Once an address is already in place, the Add Address Override hyperlink changes to “Edit Address Override”. Override addresses may be added or removed by marking or clearing the checkbox in the Policy Override Address popup.
Once a policy override exists for the Grower, on the Grower tab in the Grower Addresses section, a new column is displayed called Policy Override (this column is visible once the user refreshes the Grower tab and then navigates back to the Grower tab). An “X” in a row of this column indicates that the corresponding address is an address override that has been applied to the policy. If no override addresses exist, this column is not shown. |
