Reinstate a Canceled Coverage
All Reinsurance Years
If a coverage has been canceled but needs to be reinstated, it's possible to reinstate the policy within the System so long as the Sales Closing Date hasn't passed.
1. | Locate and open the policy that contains the coverage you need to reinstate. The policy opens on the Coverages tab. Any coverages on the policy are shown in the MPCI Coverage Information section. |
2. | On the Coverages tab of the policy, your next step depends on whether the canceled coverage is already visible in the MPCI Coverage Information grid: |
• | If the canceled coverage is already visible in the grid, continue to step 3. |
• | If the canceled coverage is not visible, click View Canceled in the MPCI Coverage Information section. The canceled coverages display with "Canceled" in the Processing Status column. Continue to step 3. |
3. | The System prompts you to confirm the reinstatement of the coverage. Click OK. The coverage is reinstated, and the Coverage Status is updated to "Reinstated". |
