Pomegranates (0467)

Overview

RMA has released a new crop pilot program for Pomegranates (0467). Pomegranates will be a Category C crop under the APH Plan (Plan 90) following lag year crop procedures. Insurance will be offered in select counties in the state of California according to the ADMs.

• Users can select separate Coverage Levels by type.
• Users can select different Price Election % by type. However, it's important to note that if CAT coverage is elected, the CAT level of coverage and price election will be applicable to all insured acreage of the insured crop (Pomegranates) in the county.
• Users can select different Price Election % by type. However, it's important to note that if CAT coverage is elected, the CAT level of coverage and price election will be applicable to all insured acreage of the insured crop (citrus fruit group) in the county.
• Quality Exclusion (QX) is an available crop option, if allowable per the ADMs. In addition, Yield Adjustment (YA), Yield Cup (YC), and Hail and Fire Exclusion (HF) are other crop options allowed.
• Basic, Optional, and Enterprise Units are allowed.
• Written Agreements and Whole Farm Units are not available.
