California Citrus Trees (CCT)
Overview
RMA has implemented a new California Citrus Trees (CCT) Pilot Program beginning in the 2022 Crop Year (2021 RY) for all insurable Citrus Trees. The program is patterned after other tree-based dollar amount of insurance crop programs (TDO Plan 40) such as Florida Fruit Trees. Existing Plan 40 functionality applies unless otherwise called out in the dropdown below. California Citrus Trees are available for producers in California in select counties, if allowed by the actuarial documents, for Tangelo Trees (0192), Orange Trees (0207), Grapefruit Trees (0208), Lemon Trees (0209), Mandarin/Tangerine Trees (0308), and any other Citrus Trees designated in the actuarial documents.
