Use the Detail Line Drawer
Locate and open a policy > Detail Lines tab > Fast Edit AR
The drawer is for viewing and editing information for a selected detail line and—like the APH drawer—is visible at all times at the bottom of the Fast Edit AR page. The Detail Line Drawer allows you to edit fields that are not editable within the Fast Edit AR grid. For instance, while the Type, Practice, and BU Override fields cannot be edited in the Fast Edit AR grid, they can be edited here.
1. | To open the detail line drawer, select the arrow next to the detail line’s Type or click the open arrow on the drawer’s banner. The Detail Line drawer opens. The detail line you opened the drawer from is highlighted within the grid while the drawer is open. |
TIP: Shortcut functionality for the drawer is also available here. To view the keyboard shortcuts for the detail line drawer, click the information icon next to the Save buttons.
2. | Make changes to the BU Override, Type, and Practice fields, if necessary. If Type and Practice are changed, however, then the rest of the drawer becomes read only as the Type and Practice must be saved before editing the rest of the drawer. The System-calculated values for Approved Yield, Guar/Acre, Total Premium, and Producer Premium will not populate until after the initial save of the grid. |
3. | In the bottom section of the Detail Line Drawer, for exception processing purposes, additional fields like Acreage Type and Commodity Cropping Status are shown. Make selections for the fields in this section as needed. |
4. | If changes were made in the bottom section of the drawer for exception processing, the System prompts you to save your changes before you can return to the Fast Edit AR grid. The System-calculated values will not populate until after the initial save of the grid. |
