This ticket was to better support the use of proper signatures on the MPCI Application (main) and to also enable the printing of multiple signatures on forms when it was required by entity type, additional fields were added to the Signature Authority Record screens and the Policy Print tab.

Ticket 218614 in the 17.125 Release implemented additional fields on the Add New/Maintain Authority Record for Livestock and MPCI. This ticket implemented a Signatures section that pulls the Signature Authority information into the Print tab for printing on the Livestock and MPCI forms and allowed users to open the add/maintain signature authority details from within the Print tab.

Ticket 218615 in the 17.130 Release implemented when an authority record existed on a grower ID, the authority’s full name and preferred Signature Format (when keyed) were pulled into the Print tab for use when printing a form in the Printed Name field as a guide for those signing the form. If no authority records existed, then the Insured’s Printed Name field showed the Grower Name (First Middle Last or Business Name) as was the format before this multi-signature support was added.

Given the scope of forms that will need to be changed, MCT started with the Livestock Applications and this ticket implemented it to the MPCI Application (main). Not all forms supported the printing of signature formats when this project was initially deployed to production environments; additional forms were phased in over time. Also, the availability of the Signatures section for MPCI depended on the presence of a system preference, Multi-Signature Printing – MPCI.

When System Preference was “true”, users were able to see the Signatures section on the MPCI Print tab and choose which signees (and their signature formats) to include on supported forms printed from this tab.

When “false”, the Signatures section was unavailable to users on the MPCI Print tab and forms were printed as they were, where the Grower Name was printed in the Insured’s Printed Name field.

The Signature section was hidden if a user selected the eSign checkbox in the Criteria section. The eSign had its own integration with the new Authority Record fields.

NOTE: The term “Authority Record” referred to the record in the POA table that contained the details keyed in the Add New/Maintain POA screen for someone given Signature Authority. Signature Authority and Signature Authorization were used synonymously to refer to the granting of permission to sign on behalf of a grower/entity.

 

The Authority Record was accessed from two places in the System. The access points did not change with Ticket 218615:

For a new record: On the Utilities tab, in the Signature Authorization section, click the Add Power of Attorney/Authorized Representative/Grantee/Authorized Signer link. The Add New Signature Authority Record screen opened.

For an existing record: On the Grower Record, if at least one signature authority record existed for the grower, then a Signature Authorization section displayed any existing records in a table. Users could click the name hyperlink to access the View Authority Record screen. Clicking Edit on the View Authority Record opened the Maintain Authority Record screen where users could make changes to authority record values. Users could also Add or Delete from this section.

 

There was a limit on the number of Authority Records that could be selected in the Signature section, it was 10.

 

In addition to adding better support the use of proper signatures, the MPCI Application (main) was converted to the new platform and some base form format updates.

Changes that were made:

For all years.

1. The main MPCI Application (main) was updated to the new platform.
2. The form was updated to be more dynamic and have less white space and possibly pages on moving sections to where the previous page was and there was room and it was applicable.
3. The form was updated to work with Multi-Sign which included a change to the format of the Signature Section. WHEN the form was printing from the individual Print Menu, AND the report style selected was pre-filled, AND the Multi-Signature Printing – MPCI System Preference was turned on, set to “true”, AND a signee was selected in the Print Tab Menu’s Signature section. THEN in the form’s Signature Section printed a Printed Name, Signature and Date fields for each signee selected on the Livestock Print Menu. The Printed Name field printed the Signee’s Signature format, if there was no Signature Format for the signee then the Signee’s Name printed. The limit on the number of Authority Records that printed was 10. The UI was also limiting the number of signees that could be selected to 10. List signee rows alphabetically by Last name above the Agent row. The form’s Signee Signature section was to match the order the signees were listed on the UI’s Signatures section. The labels for the signee rows were “Applicant”. The system was only looking at available signature authorities; the Grower was only listed in the Signature section if there was a Signature Authorization record for the Grower. IF the form was printing via Batch Print, OR IF the report style selected was pre-headed or blank, OR IF System Preference was set to “false”, OR IF no signee was selected in the UI Signature section, THEN the form’s base default Signature section printed.

 

4. Also enabled the multi-signature support for the MPCI Application (main) when using the eSign option.
5. Updated the Other Changes and Reason for Cancellation section was moved out of the footer. There were only 2 coverage lines now that printed on page 1, 2 lines always printed.
6. Removed the Revision Date on the ECO Supplement App with this new format.
7. The Conditions of Acceptance Section format was updated to better support eSign.
8. The version date was updated to "09-2025".

This ticket was to implement the 2026 Hawaii (HI) Tropical Fruit Crop Provisions.

Provisions printed with the MPCI Policy Declaration Page when the print option to print provisions with the form was selected. The MPCI Policy Declaration Page was available to print from the MPCI Print tab in an individual MPCI policy and from the Batch Printing menu.

Changes that were made:

The 2026 HI Tropical Fruit Crop Provisions was implemented.

The purpose of this ticket was to integrate Irrigation Practice as part of the auto-matching logic when importing from ACRSI.

Changes that were made:

The PRF Field Listing report was updated so that if a field boundary overlapped multiple parcel objects, all of the parcel owners and numbers were listed.
